Pros
It's a conical burr grinder and cannot even be compared to blade grinders.
- Grinds well for almost any coarseness setting. If you drink mostly drip, pour over, French press, percolator or Turkish coffee then you might want this grinder;
- It's quite small in size and is comparitivelly quiet;
- Bean and ground coffee holders are large. They're made of plastic thus unbreakable;
- Very simple controls: coarseness settings and timer;
- Easily removable upper conical burr for cleaning.
Cons
- Does not provide ground coffee consistent enough for espresso. To few coarseness settings for espresso;
- Plastic parts mean static and thus mess on the table top sometimes;
- A part of ground coffe (amount of about a tablespoon) is left in grinding chamber after grinding. Coffee oxidizes there until next grinding.
In-depth Capresso Infinity review
If you're looking for a coffee grinder that does not cost $1000, $500 or even $200, Capresso Infinity is just right for you. Simply put it's not the best grinder for espresso but best for it in a price range $10-100. It will grind great for French press, pour over and drip coffee and will grind fine enough for Turkish coffee.
"...The coffee aroma and grind uniformity is better than anything I have experienced." - By J. Witt
"...So the 560 (Capresso Infinity 560) has a lot of good attributes, but it would have been MUCH nicer if the designers had been able to shrink the grinding chamber so that less coffee was left inside there after grinding..." - By Bob M.
"...it grinds with a nice, even drone - more like a diesel truck than a jet plane taking off..." - By John H. Neumiller

I've used this model for a long time and still I though I might have missed some serious disadvantages. Because of that I have read many consumer reviews. Without tangible disadvantageous findings I'm staying with Capresso Infinity as the best mill in its category.
Grounds quality
Because of commercial grade conical burrs Capresso Infinity has inside it produces much better ground coffee than blade grinders. The smaller grind you're planning to make the more consistent it will be. It's typical to all conical coffee grinders including this Capresso model.
If you're an espresso lover you will find that Capresso Infinity is not the best choice. It lacks coarseness settings for espresso and does not grind consistent enough. Yes, this grinder is the best under $100 and will grind for any kind of coffee but for decent espresso you might want to invest at least $200 on a grinder (see the best grinders by price).
Quality, durability and design
Capresso Infinity 560 has high quality conical burrs inside that are more durable than even more expensive coffee grinders' are. Probably an expensive research is needed to prove this statement but let's rely on hundreds and thousands of consumers that are using it. It's also difficult to tell how long the mechanism will last. It's relative. I've used Capresso Infinity 560 twice-thrice a day and it didn't broke for two years (and it is not broken yet) but I bought coffee maker with integrated grinder (yeah, I'm a lazy guy)...
Now about design. There are four choices: Black plastic, Stainless steel finish, Stainless steel and Brushed chrome. Last-mentioned is as twice expensive as three before but definitely looks better and it's exterior is far more durable. Black is the least expensive and is probably the most popular among all conical burr coffee grinders. Independent of design all of these grinders have the same quality grinding mechanism.
Cleaning
Cleaning of Capresso Infinity 560 might seem a bit more difficult than of some other models until you get used to it. Reason is it has some corners where coffee is prone to gather and also some closed spaces but, as mentioned before, it's really not a big problem.
Controls
While many coffee grinders lack of control options, Capresso Infinity grinders have a nice mechanical timer which is an advantage I missed in some other coffee grinders. And, of course, a grind size adjuster of 16 settings which is fine for home use but a bit too few for espresso grinding a barista would say.
Other noticeable things
One very important aspect I almost forgot is the noise. Shortly - Infinity 560 (and 565) oa probably one of the quietest grinders there are.
By now you know why so many people chose Capresso Infinity 560 (or 565) and wrote mostly positive testimonials. We've read most of them and now I know I wasn't the only one lucky to have such a cheap and relatively good conical burr coffee grinder. We have chosen Capresso Infinity as the best grinder under $100.
Last time we checked it was heavily discounted. If you're considering to get this grinder you might want to do it today. Check the current online price (click here).
